Hypno-Coaching sessions: create the life you want!

Between the life you're living and the one you want, there's rarely a shortage of ideas. There are projects that don't move forward, decisions that have dragged on for months, "one day I'll…" that keep aging. Our practitioners — certified coaches through recognized bodies, including the ICF — support you all across Quebec, in person or online. With our powerful approach: hypno-coaching, which combines the structure of coaching with hypnosis to lift the blocks willpower alone can't reach.

An honest sort first: coaching or therapy?

A simple question helps: is this about moving forward or about healing?

  • Coaching is for people who are fundamentally doing fine but want things to move — a direction, a transition, a project.
  • If you're going through psychological distress (a collapsed mood, overwhelming anxiety…), a psychologist (registered with the OPQ) or a doctor comes first, and we'll tell you so at the first contact.

For the full breakdown and method, see our Life Coaching guide on solutionshypnose.com.

The real problem: you already know what to do

Sending that résumé, having that conversation, starting that project… You've known it for months, and you're not doing it.

That's the limit of classic coaching. The perfect plan breaks against blocks it can't see:

  • Limiting beliefs ("not for me," "too late," "I've invested too much to change").
  • Fear of failure (and its quiet twin, fear of success).
  • Invisible loyalties (surpassing your parents, disappointing those who funded your studies, leaving "a good situation").
  • An identity running behind the project.

When and how to use hypno-coaching?

These blocks don't respond to reasoning: they get worked on under hypnosis, while coaching structures the action. The plan PLUS the ground beneath it: that's hypno-coaching.

The projects we see the most in Quebec

  • Career change. Quebec's paradox: the job market has never been more open, and the labour shortage makes career changes a reasonable bet. And yet the inner blocks haven't caught up: "too late" thinking, the security you'd be leaving, the judgment of loved ones. Coaching structures the transition; hypnosis works on the real obstacles. And if the career change means going back to school, our Focus & Exams page takes over from there.
  • Retirement. An identity transition disguised as a financial question: who am I without the job, what do weeks without structure look like, what do I want from these next twenty years? Ideally, the work starts before the last day.
  • Decisions that drag on. Leave or stay, accept or decline, sell or keep: when pros-and-cons lists go in circles… We decide differently: living out each option in imagination, listening to what the body already knows, unmasking fear disguised as caution.
  • Clarity. "I don't know what I want": the most common reason, and the most workable. Accessing your real values under hypnosis, and what actually lights you up, beyond what the mind over-analyzes.
  • Balance and boundaries. Relearning to say no, no longer living someone else's schedule, before the body forces the issue (see also our Stress & Anxiety page).
  • The winter slump. A local reality: September's projects often die in February. The work builds habits that hold through identity rather than discipline, and motivation anchors that don't depend on the weather.

How it works — and when it ends

A clear goal first: measurable, dated, within your control. The first meeting often turns something vague ("I want things to change") into a real direction. Then four to eight spaced sessions, two to four weeks apart: the real work happens between meetings, in your actions. And a clear ending stated from the start: successful coaching makes the coach unnecessary, independence (self-hypnosis included) is the deliverable, and support with no end date should raise a flag, here as anywhere else.

Hypno-coaching: framework and limits

Our coaches, and why certification matters here

"Life coach" isn't a protected title in Quebec: anyone can call themselves one. That's why we put our training on the table: several team members are certified coaches through recognized bodies including the ICF, the international reference, up to PCC level, on top of their hypnosis and NLP certifications. Explainable methods, a clear framework, zero magical thinking. Your results will come from your actions, our job is to make them possible.

Coach or psychologist?

Moving forward or healing: that's the question that decides. A direction to find, a transition, a stuck project → coaching. Real suffering (a collapsed mood, overwhelming anxiety, a difficult experience…) → a psychologist (OPQ) or doctor first, and we'll tell you so plainly at the first contact. The two also work very well one after the other.

Frequently asked questions about life hypno-coaching

Coaching is a goal-oriented support process, not a form of care. We are not doctors, psychologists, or psychotherapists: our services are relational support and do not replace medical or psychological treatment. If you're experiencing psychological distress, please see a psychologist or doctor first.
