Seeing a hypnotherapist in Montreal in English

On the island of Montreal, three members of the team see clients in English: David Veilleux in Montreal East / Anjou, Nuria Pérez de León in Rosemont, and Julie Rocque in Petite-Patrie, near Jean-Talon. All three also work by video.

Each hypnotherapist works with the methods they have been trained in. If needed, they will refer you to a colleague in the network who specializes in your topic.

Each practitioner's exact rates are on their profile, under "Our Team".

Please note: receipts for helping-relationship services, the category our discipline falls under, are not accepted by every insurance plan. Check your coverage with your insurer before your first session.

Do you live far away?

Other end of the island, suburbs or a busy schedule: most of the team also sees clients by video. Online sessions get results equivalent to in-person ones, and save you the trip.

Zoom, WhatsApp or Teams, over a password-protected connection. All about video consultations.

What a session looks like

A first session always starts with an in-depth conversation: your situation, your goal, your context. And, if needed, a referral to the right healthcare professional before any hypnotic work begins.

Expect anywhere from 2 to 6 sessions depending on the topic, with one constant goal: your independence, largely through the self-hypnosis techniques you'll learn.

There's nothing magical about hypnosis: it's a natural state of focused attention, the one you already know from being absorbed in a book or driving a familiar route "on autopilot". You stay conscious and in control from start to finish.
