How to Better Manage Stress and Anxiety at Work

Stress & Anxiety at Work

Stress is not always negative.

In the right dose, it is a natural adaptation mechanism that mobilizes the attention, energy and resources needed to handle certain work situations.

But when stress rises, and even more so when it combines with fears about the future (anxiety), it can:

  • trigger exaggerated emotional reactions
  • put our relationships at risk
  • sometimes paralyze our decision-making
  • wear down our physical and mental health

Stress and Anxiety are major sources of unease at work: they can affect motivation, concentration and working relationships, and wear down everyone's health.

How Hypnosis Helps Manage Stress & Anxiety

Hypnosis helps defuse the brain's automatic responses to stressful situations, in order to:

  • ✔ Reduce the emotional impact of sources of stress
  • ✔ Train the brain to respond more calmly
  • ✔ Strengthen inner resources such as resilience and the ability to set priorities

Our Workplace Stress Management Workshops

Five smiling colleagues gathered around a meeting table in a company conference room

We offer hands-on workshops on managing stress in the workplace, designed in particular to:

  • better understand how stress works,
  • identify the individual and collective factors that feed it,
  • offer a space to talk about how each person experiences certain high-pressure situations,
  • pass on concrete tools for emotional regulation and for stepping back,
  • explore, through a few hypnosis exercises, different ways to ease inner tension and tame stress.

Contrary to some common beliefs, hypnosis used in this setting has nothing to do with stage shows or losing control.

Within a professional setting, hypnosis is a hands-on tool that supports emotional regulation.

Participants stay fully aware throughout the exercises.
