Hypnosis to Quit Smoking in Montreal
2 hypnotherapists who see clients in English in Montreal, near the metro, and by video.
Cigarettes, vapes, cannabis: we help you quit for good, without fighting the urge every day.
Adults and teenagers: the team also sees teens who want to stop vaping.
Quitting smoking: life in Montreal
The smoke break outside the office door, stepping out of the 5 à 7 for a quick one, the pack picked up at the dépanneur on the way home, the vape always in your pocket: in Montreal, smoking slips into every moment of the day. And when stress rises, that is where you turn.
Many of our clients describe the same thing: they have already tried to quit, with patches, gum or willpower alone, then started again at a party or during a hard time. Some switched from cigarettes to vaping without really breaking free.
Tobacco, vaping, cannabis: what is going on
- Physical nicotine withdrawal is real, but it passes within a few days.
- Automatic habits last longer: the cigarette with coffee, in the car, on a break, tied to places and moments.
- The emotional role is often the hardest to let go of: smoking calms stress, fills boredom, serves as a reward.
Your doctor or pharmacist can offer you help to quit (nicotine replacement, follow-up); hypnosis can go alongside it and is compatible with it.
Vaping in teenagers
Vaping arrived early in many teens' lives: at school, with friends, at parties. It quickly becomes a habit, then a dependence, which also serves to manage exam stress or how others see them.
What hypnosis can do for you

A bientôt.
Hypnotherapy is a complementary form of support and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any concerns about your health, please consult a physician first.
Undoing the automatic habits
Hypnosis works where willpower alone runs out of steam: the automatic gestures and associations (coffee, the car, the break), so these moments no longer trigger the urge.
Handling cravings and stress without cigarettes
You leave with anchors and a self-hypnosis exercise to ride out a craving, ease stress another way and stay the course, including at a party or during a hard time.
With teenagers
Hypnosis speaks to them naturally: it draws on imagination, in sessions adapted to their age, so the young person takes back control of their vape without feeling judged. Parents are involved along the way.
